Testimonials of Centurion Members

What the Centurions mean to me:
Being a police officer or serving in the military sometimes results in a unique way to view the world. Many who have not served have a difficult time appreciating this uniqueness. Our lives are filled with events and factors that flavor our view points and personalities that some find it hard to understand. It is good to have a body of believers who has experienced these life events and can relate completely to each other. It is good to have someone who has walked in our steps who knows what it is to have served in these careers and sees the world as others have not seen it. Police officers and military people are generally people who are natural leaders. These are people who are in authority and are use to authority. These are men who lead others. The Centurions are a body of believers who are in a unique position to lead others to Christ as well as a body of brothers who can talk, support and understand each other as no one else can.

As a member of the Centurions, I find spiritual strength, accountability, and camaraderie with a special group of men who I share a similar faith and occupation with. As a Christian law enforcement officer, I find that the many challenges in the workplace and at home are more easily navigated because of my continual participation, friendship, and close fellowship with my fellow Centurions as we seek God’s will in our lives both individually and collectively through the study of His word, the Bible.
